Public Support Services: Plans, coordinates, and promotes all events and displays associated with the college library from initial program research and planning to marketing. Create and maintains handouts, newsletters, and promotional materials related to programs and services. Coordinates library classroom and display case reservations.
Program Tools
Campus-wide marketing is done through use of flyers; posters; library newsletter; calender of events posted on college Website; KishTV (campus-wide TV monitors, which run continuous ads related to college events and services and are mounted at various college public spaces); and departmental and faculty collaboration. Off-campus, events are promoted with local radio and print publications.
Program Policies
Expected to host 2 events per month while classes are in-session targeted to student population. At least one major event, which targeted to the outlaying community as well as college population, per semester. Programs are generally marketed to an adult audience. Library displays are expected to rotate monthly.
Library Facilities for Programming
Library classroom equipped with computer, DVD player, audio, and projector. For larger events, we have used the college auditorium, college cafeteria, and public locations.
