Indian folklore annd pioneer history blend in this celebration of one of America's most diverse and magnificent ecosystems. Follow the adventures of a seed, journey through the four seasons with the plants and animals that call the prairie home. _______ history of the oak "Savanna" through the travels of "Rusty", a molecule of ferrous oxide. Learn of the struggles and successes ______ prairie to America's heartland. Brian "Fox" Ellis is a storyteller, author, and naturalist and has worked with The Field Museum, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library, and countless smaller county museums. He provides a look at America's Prairie _______ contemporary times using stories, writing, myths, Native American legends, poetry, and song.
