Within the “my preferences” area you can specify how you would like to receive notification when an article on your watchlist has changed. Review these settings when you initially log in to Programapedia.

Verify that your preferences have been saved successfully.

While reviewing your preferences, go to the Watchlist tab to review all settings for the watchlist. The watchlist is a collection of wiki articles that you choose to track. This tracking or watch can be viewed as a special wiki page and change alerts can be generated for articles on your watchlist. These alerts are sent to your email address, assuming you made that recommended change in the preference settings (shown above).

The following Watchlist settings are recommended.

Of particular note is the selection of “Add pages I create” and “Add pages I edit.” By having these checkboxes selected, any pages or articles you add/edit will automatically be added to the list of items you are monitoring. This is the best way to ensure proper oversight of content you are knowledgeable about and encourage continued active involvement in Programapedia.
