I added/edited some of the topics on this page which I thought we needed to talk about. Comments, please? We probably want to keep the list under 20 or 25 entries so please add any comments to this page.

I think these are a great start for categories. I do agree that Nature and Ecology should be grouped under a catch-all heading of Science. And instead of having a category for Summer Reading and One Book, One Community, could we have a category for all Reading Programs. This would include any winter reading programs or year-round programs.

Also, while I think Business would be a great category, I think we should leave it as an Audience choice. I know most of the small business programs I've done aren't aimed at the business community, but rather at the patron who is looking to go into business. That still leaves room for programs that are aimed at the business community.
