General Information
Program Title: Tribute to Titanic: The Ship of Dreams
Library: Moline Public Library (Add Library)
Presenter: Rick Sundin
Program Specifics
Titanic struck an iceberg on a Sunday. There were several worship services on board ship that day and evening. Many well known hymns were sung then. My Mother, Anita Sundin, and I have assembled a formal program about Titanic, telling its story and a tribute to the many heroes of the great ship during that tragic night of April 14th-15th, 1912 in the North Atlantic. Our program revolves around many of those hymns, with selective narration in between. We both sing, she plays her Autoharp, and we both do the narrative.
